Who We Are
We Love Your Pet, Just as You Do!
My program is made especially for those canines that need frequent time in nature to run, sniff, dig, track, roll, snarfle, splash, etcetera, away from triggers. Dogs that would benefit from the company of a neutral, well-trained, tolerant dog will have the chance to live and roam alongside my personal dog, Felony, who was previously highly dog-reactive, but is now rehabbed and my demo-dog for client pups of all sizes, temperaments, and quirks.

IBID is currently accepting day camp and day adventure clients located in Northwest Portland. Boarding clients are accepted from all over the greater Portland area.
Choose How You Want Us to Care for Your Pet!
Introductions are structured. Dogs do not free-roam unsupervised, ever. Crates, tethers, x-pens, baby-gates, closed doors, and any combination of the aforementioned are utilized to separate dogs and integrate behavioural dogs into my home. Dogs in my care need to tolerate time away from humans confined, or they are not a good fit for my program.
Drop In Visits
Short visits to your pet's home to provide care, such as feeding, walking, and playtime, while you're away for a portion of the day.
Day Adventure
Fun outings where pets explore new places and experience new things under the supervision of a pet sitter.
Day Camp
In day camps we offer supervised activities and care for pets during the day, providing a fun and safe environment.
Boarding
In boarding, we offer professional overnight care for your furry family members in a dedicated facility.

Wish to Take a Trial?
Adventure groups never exceed 4 dogs at a time, and are normally only my dog and one or two other client dogs. Groups are curated by looking at temperament, energy, and behaviour. Only dogs who are successful are placed together; this means either dogs who are neutral or playful in a reciprocated appropriate way. IBID never places incompatible dogs together on field trips, and for mitigating any potential friction or conflict within compatible groups, management is always utilized; in the form of long leashes, muzzles, slip leads, tethers, etc. IBID operates within the framework of LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive” dog handling/training. IBID is operated out of a 2 story home near St. John’s, in conjunction with a spacious yard.
